Thank you Dan!

As long as it isn't too expensive that's an excellent idea. The lights are
nearly always hidden from view. Taping a filter over them would often save
time and should always give better results. Typically the lights are under
every kitchen cabinet, so I'll need a lot of filter material.

Now to go look for the stuff ...
