The 180mm Zuiko is a very nice lens, but is not very good on a tripod due to
its weight. Not a very good choice for night photography. The chromo can
be an issue especially with a teleconverter. That said, it is definitely a
Zuiko and is a handsome lens. I think this lens shines as a long portrait
lens. I have notice the price dropping lately in ebuy. Probably due to all
the bad 180mm PR on the net! So, have you heard that the 250mm f2 is heavy,
overpriced, unsharp antiquated doorstop ;^).

I've been waiting for a Zuiko 180/2.8 but whenever one appeared on Aussie
oboy I didn't have the readies. The last one appeared on oboy in Jan 2005
so another is overdue for an appearance.
And you're right Bart, the Zuiko looks so much sexier than the Tamron.

That roughly equates to what I've seen down here in Oz. The four Zuiko
180/2.8 that sold on oboy Australia in the past year fell in the AU$416 -
AU$569 range (US$310 - US$424).
