Not subversive, Frugal or cheep depending on your point of view.

It's part of the problem I have with digital cameras. I just can't
bring
myself to spend that kind of money on something that can/will become
outdated/useless/valueless that quick.
The other problem that when I pick up one of these new cameras they
just
don't feel right in my hands. When I pick up my OM1 or even the OM4 they just
feel right feel right. When I picked up a digital C*n*n R*bel I felt lick I
was trying to use a camera with mittens on.
They are also very definitely oriented to right handed people. I'm
abidextrous but I use my left eye on the view finder. My left hand is the one
I use to carry and support the camera. These cameras that are truncated on
the left side are just plain aweful. The big lump that's a "grip" or battery
box forces me to try to hold a camera in a way that's totally unnatural to
me. -Doug
