Hello all,
Well, UPS is still dragging their feet about my
claim. I received an email from the shipper a few days
ago stating, we (UPS) accidentally close the claim
(OOPS) and we will reopen it to get this resolved. Oh
gee thanks, I hope that is not to much of a problem
for them. I have had nothing but hell from the driver
since all this happened, as I am now a signature only
customer. She has almost always come at the same time
before, but now she comes anytime of the day. I have
had 2 times when someone was home, and all she did was
put the note on the door stating she had been here,
and she needed a signature. I called after the first
time and asked if it was to much of a problem to ring
the bell or knock? Evidently it is, because she has
done it again since. My mother lives with us and is
usually home and when it's just her here, I put a note
on the door asking for a bit of patience as an elderly
woman will be coming to the door. Mom really loves
that note. ;-)

Now the good news, I won another E-1 kit of of the
'bay. It arrived no problem, UPS Ground this time,
different driver. It was packed in a Dell Computer
box, and this driver rang the door and waited on Mom.
Then told her she didn't have to have a signature, but
that she felt uncomfortable leaving a "computer" on
the door step. Wow, someone who thinks.
Now my question, does the E-1 have a reset to
default? I have been playing with it for a day now and
it seems to have issues on when it wants to focus, and
take the shot. All of this has been indoors, although
I thought in bright enough light to auto focus. As
well as with the flash mounted. I guess I need to know
if it appears to have a problem, or just me. :-) Is
there a "E-1 for Dummies" out there anywhere.
I updated all the firmware, so I wouldn't think
that was an issue. But I look forward to all your
thoughts on the matter.
