According to my E-500 advanced manual:
" . The optional external flashes (FL-50, FL-36, FL-20, RF-11, TF-22) cannot
be used with the internal flash.
. The FL-40 optional flash cannot be used."
My C-7070WZ seems to be a godd deal more flexible....
