Before getting the hard case I always kept my primary OM kit (1n, 2n,
50mm/1.4, 50mm/3.5, 24mm/2.8, 50mm/3.5 Macro, 135mm/2.8, 200mm/4, T-32,
filters, etc.) in a Lowepro Rover AW II, and found that this was a great
pack. I do a lot of driving around the Tri-State area for work, though,
and the way I usually throw things in the truck I was afraid I was going
to break something one of these days. Not to mention the vibration from
the washboard dirt roads I always seem to find myself on. Hopefully the
hardcase will solve those worries, and I keep the Rover pack stuffed
under the back seat in case I want to go hiking - I can just pull it out
and transfer whatever from the hard case. I use medium format and 4x5
gear, too, but it's always's the OM gear that I grab automatically when
I'm preparing to hit the road. Now I should breathe a little easier
about it. The only problem is that there isn't room in it for my 300mm
and 500mm lenses. :)
