I bought exactly that, and it doesn't have both sorts of connectors.
The larger object with the thumbscrew has an outward PC connector, but
the smaller one is just a shoe with a tripod socket in the bottom.
One of those and a standard hot shoe adapter would work (HAMA 6952,
for instance), or possibly two of those sets.
