Prof. Andrew Davidhazy at Rochester (Uni. or Inst. of Tech.?) has
been at this for a long time and designed cameras that scan a subject
on a rotating posing stool, resulting in an image that peels them
like an apple.
This guy is having fun - Davidhazy is serious!
He runs the Photoforum site and his articles and images are linked to
it.
