It's apparently an N-MOS device - which means there is one n-channel
transistor used (per pixel I suppose) in place of C-MOS which uses a
Complementary pair (one n- and one p-). Outside of the optical sensor
world, using N-MOS meant worse power consumption but how the pros and
cos stack up N-MOS vs C-MOS sensor I dunno. Too old to be a geek
anymore - they have zits don't they?.
