I have also had the opposite experience with KEH. When I was enquiring about
a particular lens (they had three, IIRC), they withdrew listings for those
lenses while I thought about things. In the end, I didn't buy anything and
the next day the listings were back. All-in-all, good service.

I think that was true before.  I recall buying something and was
concerned when it didn't disappear from the Web listing.  Called to
make sure my order was received.  The agent laughed and said they had
ten more of what I bought (described as 'EX').  They just pull the
first one off the shelf and box it up.
