Hey, don't dis the A1 like that. I'm using it for some
totally-serious stuff. With the latest/greatest RAW converters
it's one smashingly good camera. But that E330 *could* be the
A1 replacement in my primary bag very soon. When it comes to
macro and studio work, I use the A1 probably 10x more often than
the E-1 because of the live monitor.

Agreed. At least with Olympus you know that your E-x purchase
won't be supplanted with a Mark II version next week.

I think the E330 is an indication that Olympus still thinks in
terms of the "masses". The Pen-x was HUGELY successful and
they're still committed to that mindset. Olympus was incredibly
successful before the OM, but not as a primary pro system. But
for every one pro camera sold, there are probably 100 consumer
cameras sold.

I made the decision to add a full-frame camera to my bag. Yup.
I succombed to the siren song of the 5D. I really liked the
idea of larger viewfinder, better wide-angles and increased
resolution. It's amazing what we've been missing.
