He's been around a long time and given the amount of time people  
spend discussing what he says, he's very successful. I have a great  
deal more sympathy since I began the magazine writing myself - being  
paid to stick your neck out in a circus full of geeks is an  
entertaining and sometimes nervous way to make a living. Good luck to  
him - at least he's rarely boring.
