I think you're confusing the Kiron 28-105 f/3.2-4.5 (67) and the Kiron 
35-135 f/3.5-4.5 (62).  As you can see, neither takes a 55mm filter.

Kiron lenses with 55mm filters are the 24 f/2, 28 f/2, 28 f/2.8, 30-80 
f/3.5-4.5, 70-210 f/4.5, 80-200 f/4 and 80-200 f/4.5.

The Kiron 35-135 does have the same type of macro control ring seen on 
the Zuiko 35-105 but I think they turn in the opposite direction and the 
Kiron doesn't have what I assume is a release button on the 35-105.  Any 
family resemblance is a bit weak.

I have no idea what the Kiron 30-80 looks like as I've never seen one in 
the flesh or even a photo.  Same 64mm OD as the Zuiko but the Kiron is 
8mm longer even though it has less range.

Data from the Kiron group at Yahoo groups and verified by some of my own 
lenses.
