His whiskey was made in Iowa....the western part around Denison and Harlan.
He lived by a little town called Defiance. I think he enjoyed both sides of
the border. We used to go there to visit relatives in the month of August.
That was before the days of air conditioning and the heat and humidity were
terrible. Good for corn but bad for people. /jmac

Where was the whiskey coming from? Not made in Iowa, was it?
Sounds like he enjoyed his time in Nebraska more than Iowa. I guess
that would be possible. Not a nickle's worth of difference to most
people. Western Iowa is pretty country, but not the best part to live
in otherwise. If you gave the western third of Iowa to Nebraska, it
would raise the aggregate IQ of both states.
