Thanks Tom,

Isn't the 5D way more expensive than the 20D or 30D ?  Only reason for
20D over 30D is that I couldn't see a huge difference in specs and the
fact that 30D is newer seems to be pushing 20D prices down somewhat.

If the 5D is in the same price bracket as the 20D and E500, I'll give
that another look as well.

Thanks for the input, I'll let everyone know what decision I make.

If I was making the decision today, I would like choose either the Canon
30D 
or 5D.
