The 12-24 Sigma is full frame. The 12-24 Tokina (reputed to be an
excellent performer) is for APS size sensors. Here's Nikon mount

This was one of my planned acquisitions when I was planning on buying a
20D. My lens plan was a 12-24/4 Tokina, 24-70/2.8 Sigma or 28-80/2.8
Tokina and 70-200/2.8 Sigma. Part of the rationale for going to the 5D
was realizing that I could eliminate the 12-24 if I had a full frame
camera thus saving $500 towards the higher price of the 5D.

Now that I've pretty much decided to go 5D my lens plan is 28-80/2.8
Tokina and the new macro version of the 70-200/2.8 Sigma. Both take
77mm filters. Since my wide angle photography tends to be slow and
deliberate the OM mount 17/3.5 Tokina and 24/2.8 Zuiko will take the
place of the 12-24 zoom. Macro work will also go to the OM mount lenses.
