I'll swim against the current here a bit.
I like most of the Tamron SP series lenses I've used over the years.
I shot with a 35~105 and although it was a good lens in other
respects, I found the amount of barrel distortion on the wide end of
my copy to be unacceptable. So, if that is important to you, you may
want to check it out.
