Ali, if maximum height is equal between two pods, more sections will
collapse down to a shorter minimum length.  It also take longer to
release each section so you have a classic trade-off.

I too am not so sure about maximum capacity weight specifications. 
Unfortunately we just have to try 'em and hope for the best.
