When I didn't receive a shipping notification yesterday from Dell, I queried
the status of my order on their website, only to learn that, since I appear to
have ordered something exotic, the thing won't ship until the 28th of this
month. That just means I'll be mostly absent here longer than I had
anticipated due to a spastic computer.
Anyway, some equipment suppliers are much quicker and more efficient than Dell,
and the SSR parts are now here: headers, free-flow dual exhaust system,
supercharger, "super" computer chip, and a few other goodies intended to get
the 0-60mph times down closer to 4 seconds than 5. Looks like I'll be turning
wrenches more than aperture rings for the next couple of weeks.
Y'll can carry on without me, I'm sure. :-)
