He He. We all know resistance is futile in the end Bill.
Just to tempt you a little more - if you like taking lots of
macros/tabletop shots or landscapes on sturdy tripods then the E-330 is
a great tool for that, particularly when it comes to using OM mount
lenses. Not having a cable release is the only serious oversight I can
think of (though MLU with a few seconds delay can get round that a
little). The ability to zoom in 10x on any area of the highly detailed
LCD and be confident of an extremely accurate focus is very seductive
and does make you realise that an optical viewfinder really can be
bettered in certain areas (which I was always doubtful of).
If I were you I'd probably stick to getting the printer/scanner combo
for now (looking for a replacement for my Polaroid 4000 myself). I feel
that the E-330 will drop from the slightly high launch price in a few
months or so. Though I did manage to pick the basic kit up at launch for
an almost reasonable (we're talking UK prices) £720. Still haven't got
round to selling the kit lens to recoup a little of the 'investment' ;).
