No these were at the factory installed setting (middle position) 
straight from box and then straight from the scanner no post processing 
. I moved the adjusters later  to the same position as in the review 
later but haven't gone back to rescan these  yet.  to be honest I can 
only print up to 8 x 12 maximum at the moment, so I didn't or don't feel 
the need to invest time  pixel peeping  any further at the moment.

I only did a really thorough comparison with the coolscan V  and I 
personally preferred the results from the v700, I also reasoned that on 
the rare occasion (if ever) I needed the best scan possible it would be 
cheaper to get it done by a specialist.
