Beattie screens or 2-series screens, it makes no difference, the viewfinder
needle reading in a 1 or 2 body will be off (NB, not a 2SP). But notice
that it's only the viewfinder needle display - as Iwert indicates, the OTF
auto-exposure on a 2 should be fine (but different from what the needle
indicated!).

Hope it is not too much of a re-hash. With my new shift lens am thinking
about scribing my 1-13 screen, though why not use a 2-13 and have a brighter
view finder? Review of notes in the archives reveals some minor surgery is
required. Might be nice for Macro in lower light and then I can have my
cake and eat it too. Looking at John's site it appears the Beattie screens
will foul-up the meter needle with some tele's in manual mode. Suspect this
might be the case with the 2-13, though thought I'd check with those in the
