Hi Jeff,
I don't remember the post but it certainly sounds like me and guess what? I
am genuinely embarrassed that I could have made such a remark. Maybe the
past few years on the lists have heightened my awareness of what is and what
is not politically correct
I do remember posting on one list, maybe this one, that my attempts at
humour sometimes don't make it across a room so it is a major risk to launch
an attempt at humour around the world. Belated apologies to anyone who found
my remark offensive.
Maybe I am growing up at last, it's been a long time coming :-)
