Ali,
I have no idea if the 11-22 is a "limited edition". But it seems
there are a number of 3/4 system products that are hard to get hold of.
The flashes seem to be in short supply and when available sell out
quickly. I hope this is a good thing for Olympus ie the system is
growing in popularity.
I bought the 11-22 to get a little more wide angle; 28mm
equivalent just isn't wide enough. But on the other hand I have been
caught short on the top end. This forced me to carry both the 11-22 and
the 14-45 which is a bit crazy. Since I recently bought the 35/3.5 Macro
it fills the gap between the 11-22 and the 45-150.
The 11-22 is a very good lens and I have been very pleased with
the images it produces. The only drawback is it is pretty heavy and the
long nose and hood makes a nasty shadow if you use the built-in flash.
