I don't think so. It is hard to think of any area in the 5D that
needs to be significantly improved that will make better photographs.
Improvements in digital cameras have really slowed down. There might
be a successor to the 5D on Canon's upgrade schedule, but I doubt it
will be any more significant than the 30D - a few detail improvements
and a bit cheaper price. I suspect people will have their 5Ds until
they break.
