Nah. I just figured I hadn't explained myself fully enough, so I threw a 
lot more words at it.. And you were talking from your own experience. If 
we can't exchange ideas without getting upset, we're in trouble. :-)

Thanks, the F series aren't perfect, but they are pretty amazing.

Well, I did make those particular shots about 3,000 miles from home. ;-)

We live in very different environments. Even though I live in a large, 
very populous area, my immediate neighborhood is very low density 
compared to yours and there is open, almost natural countryside very near.

That is one of the odd things about the E-system. Although the 300/330 
come closer to delivering on the size promise of a smaller sensor, 
overall it doesn't seem like it was worth the trouble. I do think they 
will eventually be able to deliver the 10-12mp needed with good noise 
characteristics. Whether it will be soon enough is an open question  If 
they can't get something like the Fuji sensor system technology and 
Kodak can't come through, maybe they can quietly buy Can*n sensors and 
just use the central portion. :-)
