We had a thread on polarizer and OM 2s a month or two ago---I can't locate it.
It may be when the Archives hiccupped.
Checked the Oly web site: the E- 500 uses a "TTL phase detection system" for
AF. One would predict trouble with a large amount of polarization with a
linear pol with this type of AF. I had read a brief artcle that certain "high
end" D SLR's use alternative AF techniques (?IR based) and are not affected.
The D200 uses the same technique. The Edisonian approach is still interesting.
Let us know. Most of the fancy shmancy thin MC flavored pols are circular
anyway.
