As an example, the eyelevel prism for my Mamiya RB-67 weighs >1kg, what is the 
weight of an OM prism ?  The RB-67 film size is roughly 2x the linear 
dimensions of 35mm.

Also viewfinder brightness is not the only aspect to consider in relation to 
ease of focussing.  For example I find that when there is adequate light an OM 
1-4 screen "snaps" into focus better than a 2-4 which I believe has to do with 
the "graininess" of the screen.
