Well, we agree on the parnips, although the roasted ones I had in
England were passable, the Leica of parnips if you will. But maybe
they seemed better after being exposed to beef and kidney pie which
was a disgusting experience, sort of dirty barnyard in a pot. I am
also generally averse to the other rooty things like radishes, beets
and carrots.
