Not necessarily. When I was there in the early '80s they were still
using gauges from the (I think!) the '40s. I think the 'If it ain't
broke . . . /KISS" philosophies are law there.
I may be easily impressed, but I found the place awe inspiring. Of
course dams *are* controversial.
