I myself am an administrator of a very popular discussion forum, but still
would hate to see this list head into that direction.  Please don't change
the format.  The webbased forums seem to be endless sources of flame wars
and off-topic ravings (and I mean true off-topics, not like here where the
so called "off-topics" are usually "on-topics").  The email format minimises
that.  It is also much nicer to get *all* the correspondance into your
mailbox instead of having to browse through endless categories and topics
where the discussion is often pretty thin-spread.

Sometimes the new things are not better, they don't make them like they used
to...
