I recently paid a pro photographer friend $500 for an unlimited license (web
& print) for three images or one of my projects. He still retains the
copyright of course. These were images for which he had already been paid to
take by a publisher for a book. That is, strictly a licensing fee. And I
think a special deal for me as a friend.
