Chuck,
       The BG2 does have a better regulated 330V inverter in it, and of course 
you also get full
tilting, rotating head like a normal handle mount. 
What this external inverter means is much more consistent recharge times over 
many,many more
flashes from a set of C cells rather than a much faster recharge. However, I 
think if you use it
with batteries in the T32 as well, you get less than half the cycle time.
