I haven't tried an Optima yet, maybe someday. However, I've had very good 
luck with Sears Diehard Gold. I've been using them for over ten years now, 
only had one failure (probably my own fault for not having it properly 
secured in the 4x4) and they pro rated the replacement. They cost around $90 
and will last well beyond their 3 year free replacement warranty and have a 
100 month pro rated warranty. Plus, it's hard to beat 875 CCA and 145 min. 
Reserve Capacity.
