Anybody want to post some outdoor shots taken at wider than 21mm
equivalent FOV? What makes a good one and what makes one not so good?

My two widest lenses are 17 and 24. The 24 gets used once in a while
and the 17 almost never. The recent interior shots of my house probably
quadrupled all prior usage of the 17. The reason the wides don't get
used much is precisely because of what Jeff laments here. I don't seem
to know how to use them effectively outdoors or maybe indoors for that
matter.

On that same note of wide angle indoor usage, when buying the Tokina
28-80/2.8 recently I avoided the Canon and Sigma competitors because
they start at 24mm. When shooting groups of people indoors I didn't
want to be able to accidentally slip into that range under 28mm where
distortion can become so readily apparent.

OK, post those good and not so good outdoor wide angle shots. What's
the difference?
