I used to have a Kiron 28-85/2.8-3.8 but sold it. Instead I kept my
Kiron 28-105/3.2-4.5 for the little bit of extra reach as more useful
than the 1/3 stop on the aperture. They appear to be identical except
for a little difference in the curves on the glass.

I'd probably sell this one if anyone is interested. Haven't used it in
quite some time so I'd have to inspect it but my recollection is the
reason I kept this particular one is that it had little or no zoom creep
which is quite common in Kirons and other one-touch zooms of the era.
Don't have any test pics that I can relate to this particular lens but I
could test it on the 5D vs some other lens of your choice if I've got it.
