Check the news on dpreview. <http://www.dpreview.com/>  There's not only 
a Sigma DSLR using this sensor but a fixed focal length Sigma camera as 
well with 28mm equivalent field of view.  Competition for the Ricoh 
GR-D.  Something with a much larger sensor.

If Olympus were to choose this technology for the E-3 a 4/3 size sensor 
with the same pixel density would yield about 11.25 MP.  (at least as 
Foveon likes to count them).  Divide by 3 for actual pixel locations.
