At Photokina yesterday they told me the E400 would start to appear in
the shops in November.  If they underestimate demand (and it is sweet
and we're talking Cristmas season) it'll be on a waiting list - the
Nikon D200 was on back order for months.  Don't waste another working
day (earning day) waiting - buy something today.  You can ebay it in
3-6 months without much of a hit - in fact almost zero hit if you buy
it already used...
Head not heart in this case I think
