And this is very IMHO.

But the titanium is a bit of a gimmick, and will make it unnecessarily expensive

Quite. I'd rather it was bigger and had a good old fashioned screen
with a split-image and possibly even a microprism collar for manual
focusing.

I've no idea either, but the camera's intuition may well be different
from mine ;)

Just please stop wasting my time with brazillions of program modes
I'll never use.

Nice, but not that important.

Didn't we get 0.04s response with the E-10? OK, I know there was no
mirror, but even so.... what's the response time on an E-300?.
Standard cable release I like, but even better would be an electronic
one that uses a standard connector (e.g. 3-way 2.5 or 3.5mm jack) with
nothing more complex (and I can't see that it needs to be) than two
switches at the other end. This could easily be made splash proof,
too.

Just like an OM-4? that would be nice, assuming the "spot" button
will be used the same way, i.e. to collect spot readings and set the
exposure to the average of them.

Still, it would be nice though.

Why? maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I'd rather use the camera just for
capturing the images and work on them later with a computer attached
to a bigger screen than the camera has. Why make the camera more
complex than it needs to be?

> > Removable/upgradeable LCD for remote Bluetooth operability

Not sure what the point of that is, unless there's a live view. OTOH,
control of the camera by bluetooth would be moderately cool, albeit
rather short range, no? Live view with video out would be of more use
to, say, a wildlife photographer.

Why not? I'd like that. Mind you, I think Oly deserved a bit of a
kicking for not making the FL-series flashes pin and signal compatible
with the T-series (which would mean there'd be no adapter required at
this late stage). It only needs two signals, for heavens sake (start
the flash, and quench the flash) and they're both present in the new
system. That level of continuity from OM to E10 to E-1 and beyond
would have earned them a lot of brownie points IMHO. You can probably
guess that I was *very* annoyed to find that the FL-40 that I bought
(from C.H. Ling of this list) for my E-10 was less than fully
functional with my E-300. Are they making a system or what?

Seconded, even though I won't be an early adopter (see above)

Continuity of usability of ancillaries like that is a good thing.

As opposed to what? E-300 has USB2, why take a step backwards

> Of course. Even E-1 had Firewire.

Quite.
