I knew D1x using two CCD and to me it looked like a drawback rather than a
plus. The 4028x1324 array gives uneven distribution hence you got different
horizontal/vertical resolution on an image. I didn't offended by the Fuji
comparison, I'm a Olympus fan not Fuji fan. On the other hand I tried not to
bias on anything even with Olympus, I had lots of post in the pass about the
problem with E-system and even with OM. Such as the chorma on Zuiko 180/2.8
and DZ 8mm, poor focusing of E-1 and the oversized DZ lenses...etc.

I had also mentioned if I have to start with a new DSLR system I will choose
D200, it featured and priced very well, unfortunately I have lots of OM
Zuikos that I love and would love to continue to use them in DSLR system.

I just want to say if D1x's resolution can compare with a 8MP DC no one will
bother with the D70 but unfortunately just very small amount of people think
this is true even the Nikon fan. The used D1x here is very cheap, although
it doesn't appear very often but most of them are less than USD1000.
