Graham,
Thanks for your interest. The stone circles on er Lannic are now partly
submerged, as you suggest they would not have been when they were built
(c.2,000 BC). The circles & the Gavrinis passage grave (c.3,500 BC) which is
visible in the background would not have been isolated on islands during the
Neolithic, the Morbihan area has been subject to considerable relative sea
level rise since then.
OK - the joins are not all that obvious, but there is one definitely visible
just to the right of the jetty. Probably shouldn't have mentioned it but I
assumed someone on the list would point it out for me :-)

Hi Martyn,
Nice set. My favourites were the two from Carnac and the blue boat at
Locmariaquer. The shot of the standing stones going down to the waters edge
seemed really odd as I have never seen them that close to water although I
suppose it's possible that the water wasn't around when they were raised..
The pano is wonderful and after reading your comment about obvious joins I
went back to look again to see why I missed them :-) I didn't see any.
