[OM] Looking through the noise, seeing beauty

Yesterday, I made a completely ignored appeal, part of which was:

"So I appeal to all listees to remember and support what has brought us
together more than the details that separate us and keep a supportable
balance between them. Discussion and demonstration of our differences
helps us all learn and grow. Letting them separate us, diminishes us all."

Perhaps AG's more direct approach will help.

In any case, I'd like to follow up in a practical way to what I said
above. Buried in all the NOISE of the last few days, have been an
extraordinary wealth of wonderful pictures posted by list members.

I invite those gnawing on something in frustration at the unrequited
need to say just one more thing to spend some time with some of these
images and get back to what we are here for.

In my own effort to keep us with the noise and some other, non-list
stuff I actually needed to do, I have yet to really go through Ian's
images from the Lake District, but I know there are some outstanding
images there, many with the potential to be calming
<http://ian955.fotopic.net/c1092807.html>.

Since there were only three images, I did manage to look at and comment
on Manual's lovely contributions.

The first of the Isle Royal images have shown up. Again, I haven't had
time to do more than browse at random, but I can see there are many
images worth spending some time with
<http://image66media.com/Gallery/IsleRoyale01>.

Look at the pretty, and funny, balloons in Kentucky.

Or wander through another part of Isle Royale with Kem
<http://www.howforge.com/4-days-on-isle-royale>.

Take a trip with Martyn to see some images our ancestors made millennia
before we had cameras <http://archaeoimages.com/Brittany-01/index.html>.

Maybe even take your cameras out for a walk and some exercise, and post
your results.

As soon as I get this little $$ project out of the way, I'm going to get
cracking on some more images.
