Not a good time to be looking for used OM in London Olli.
You can try Jacobs http://www.jacobsdigital.co.uk/content.php on New Oxford
Street - they have a used cabinet at the back of the shop (in the righthand
corner) - I don't think you will be very happy with what you see. You can
also try Jessops Classic www.jessops-used.com/classic/ opposite the British
Museum, but that is only because they are close to Jacobs and the Museum.
All the other used photo shops in central London that I have visited over
the years have closed, or stopped selling used equipment, except for RG
Lewis, who are L*ica specialists - I have never seen any OM for sale there.
On the northern edge of central London is Nicholas Cameras
http://www.nicholascamera.com/ in Camden High Street, who advertise
extensive stocks of all sorts, including OM, at prices that seem
astronomical (example - 24mm shift near new, GBP1750 ~Euro2700 ~USD3000).
It is close to the centre.
On the southern edge of greater London (in Croydon) Mr Cad
http://www.mrcad.co.uk/shop/home.php has large stocks of used equipment,
everything from LF to Minox, but his OM stock seems expensive to me (example
80/4 Auto Macro for GBP399 ~Euro600 ~USD700) . Allow an hour (maximum) to
get there.
For E-1 stuff in Central London, I guess Jacobs, or Cameraworld
http://www.cameraworld.co.uk on Wells Street are as good as any. I doubt
that you will find an E-1 - it is discontinued. You might get an E-400 more
easily!
