For information, to that $30-$40 you need to add the cost of the CLA, and
VAT+duty in Europe (overall about 22% in UK) is due on the total.  In the
UK, we also get to pat GBP13.5 for the pleasure of the GEM service
collecting the VAT+duty.  Thus - as a purely "off the top of my head"
example - a recent bargain 40/2 with OM-2n end cap incurred VAT+duty oncost
of GBP60.

I regularly ship completed repairs to Europe, occasionally I hear occasional
stories regarding VAT taxes.  Safe fast shipping is expensive too, but it
gets to Europe in about a week.  One OM-1 body shipped by insured Global
Express Mail to the UK is $30 to $40.
