Yep, me too. Both Pioneer, both still work.

Never liked 'em.  Was always a laser guy. Didn't understand the appeal 
of something that worked essentially like a vinyl LP with stylus-to-disc 
contact that would cause wear and damage.

How badly do you want an Elcaset?  How about a full-sized rackmount 
Technics (Panasonic) unit that worked last time I used it? I'd like it 
to go to a good home...
