Jeez, d00d!  DETAILS.  DETAILS.  DETAILS.

Here I was banging my head against a wall trying to understand how a CF 
card can be write-protected and now you go and let on that you only had 
a CF *form factor* card in there and it was actually a *microdrive*.

Glad I didn't send that e-mail off to Oly support.
