--- From my experience tax is levied on the declared
package value; a lot
of
stuff gets shipped as 'Gift' or 'Promotional Material
of no Commercial
Value' to (fraudulently) avoid duties but that doesn't
always work and
can
result in the goods being confiscated
The buyer wanted me to slip a card into the package
and mark it as a gift. I said NO Way and marked the
value down. I am not going to play those games.
