I have decided with this kit to stick to using 3 or 4 primes to maximize
my picture taking enjoyment, and hopefully image sharpness/quality.
Any help appreciated.

Hmm, if I had the 50mm f1.4 (mine is not a 1,100,000+ lens) and wanted 3 or 4
primes to go with it, the kit might look like this:

Zuiko 24mm f2.8, Zuiko 85mm f2, Tamron SP 180mm f2.5 and either the Tamron SP
300mm f2.8 or the 50mm f3.5 macro. I do a bit of nature and wild life and that
is the reason for the 300mm. If you had no interest in this type of
photography or need the reach of the 300mmm, the 50mm f3.5 might be a good
choice.

My kit would also include a 2X teleconverter (either the Zuiko, the Vivitar
Macro Focusing one or the Tamron for the 300mm f2.8). It would also include a
set of auto extension tubes ( any brand just so long as they were suto tubes.)

So that would be my kit. Bill Barber
