Nope, not at all like the Leica M-8. The M-8 uses a Kodak KAF-10500
sensor which is a full-frame transfer design.

Not interline which is required for the real-time view I espoused for a
future camera. The M-8 is still just a rangefinder giving a typical
rangefinder view of the scene.
