  Well, I just did a quick comparison; in a fairly dark environment, the 
E-330 does seem to be a little bit faster, but it's not noticeably more 
successful in focussing in lower light; perhaps I need to be somewhere 
even darker. (14-54 lens on both, both using all three focus points).

  Generally I've been using the center point for the E-1, but that's 
because that way I know what it'll do; I don't know when it'll choose 
one of the other two to focus on, so I'm wary of it getting confused.

  One other advantage of the E-1 over the E-330 is the AF illuminator -- 
the E-330 has to strobe the flash to do that, which is (according to my 
wife) very annoying if you're on the receiving end..

  I'll try that -- I've generally used noiseware on its defaults and 
been happy enough, but I should try some tweaks.
